Eight Mile Gate Road is a major logging truck route and therefore there are a number of concerns raised about parking in this area. To keep recreational users and the truck drivers safe there is now limited parking available.
Parking in and around the gantry or the weigh station is now not allowed. There is a parking on the right-hand side of the gate but if that and the car park are full, it’s back to the main Waipa car park you go.
Information signs are now in place so please respect these signs and only park where allowed.
