Opening Hours

The 3 main entrances to the Titokorangi and Whakarewarewa Forests open at 6am and close up at the times stated below.

  • Tatokorangi Dr (Redwoods) – 6am till 10.30pm
  • Te Putake o Tawa – 6am till 9pm
  • Waipa MTB carpark – 6am till 10.30pm

The main gates are open for vehicle access at 5.30am till late. You can walk/bike in at any time. We would encourage use of the forest in daylight hours only for your own safety.
